The School Logbook

Today I went to visit our local archives. I spent most of the day poring over the village school logbook from 1864 to the 1970s. I'm writing a piece for our Heritage Society's new website. I took a lot of photographs. Here is one from 1940 detailing the number of local children and the WW2 evacuees each week as well as the weekly affairs of the school.
