Oasis

Walked out the door this morning and saw this, plus it was a slightly cooler morning, felt wonderful. You can see in Mike's Blip what the surrounding Land looks like. As long as there's a break from the intense heat at night, it's bearable, I find. The netting on the lime pot is to stop mosquitoes developing.

Here, Monday was the hottest day for global temperatures on record, easy to believe if you live here.

Gratefuls:
- a fun three-way chat between us, Manchester family, and Sutton family this morning; Eden was looking very puzzled
- small, but very sweet peaches off our tree
- cool enough to eat supper outside tonight
