Pop up shop

Today I went on a reconnaissance to ‘Bens Yard’ a new complex just outside Ely with my friend D. We have both applied to be in a maker’s market in September in the ‘pop up shop’ (centre of picture) 

The person occupying it this week is the sister of an old work colleague ( see extra) , so we had a great chat about it and looked at the actual premises . We are both feeling very positive. It was a lovely atmosphere, and we had an excellent lunch at the restaurant.  See extra For my desert!

There aren’t as many shops as we had first thought there would be, and it’s only a week old, so still some settling in to be done, but a good place to while away a couple of hours.
