Beautiful but poor quality pic.

Tonight swampy316 and me were on the way to the pub when we saw these avocets in the road. The adults were able to fly but littl'un could not of course. It tired itself out and fell over at one point but "mum" knelt and he sheltered under her wing for a little while. It then went back to walking in the middle of the road so in the end he had to be moved manually onto the bank as his parents flew around overhead. Hopefully all is well ....
