Lightning

Played around with shutter speed to capture lightning in a storm we were watching from across the lake. Spencer helped me figure out how to adjust my shutter speed and we settled on 4 seconds, which resulted in this shot. The lake was perfectly calm and over us was a blue sky with stars, so we posted up on the deck with drinks and the camera. Actually, the water was so calm that I took this shot from the boat, which wasn't rocking at all.

Today begins our Erasmus reunion, and Aidan and Ron have arrived. We have food and drinks for an army, and we just hope the weather stays as nice as it's been the last few days.
