Baby Beckett's 2nd Independance Day Parade

With son Jeff and daughter-in-law Heather, Beckett calmly watched the parade. He is not quite old enough to be interested in the candy being thrown, but just wait until next year (or the year after?)

It was hot here (88F at parade time), and I felt a little sorry for a few of the people who were walking.

I don't like to complain, but I think the parade was lacking this year. What is a parade without the high school marching band, some old cars, old tractors, and horses?

We hurried home to our air-conditioned house, and promptly took a nap. Plus, we didn't go out for the fireworks show (but we could hear it.) We must be getting old.
