Its all about the sky this morning

There have been so many quite stunning sunrises (and sunsets) recently and I have refrained from photographing them. However, this mornings sunrise was pretty nice. I was on "cup a tea in bed duty", and took this from the terrace door while waiting for the jug to boil. Taken 15 minutes before the sunrise at 8 am.

Incidentally, the cloud cover put paid to the sun rising at all and its been an overcast but very warm day.

We enjoyed some company for lunch, then took off to walk some of the tracks around the Scenic Reserve. What a great place that is for outdoor activities. One of Timaru's gems. Then called at friends for some refreshments and a chat. Just home now, getting dark and the fire is lit.

Ready to settle into an evening, I have some knitting to do. And the final of Master Chef, a two hour epic!!
