Smoke Bush with Greenfinch

I can't think what kept this beautiful bird in our Cotinus Smoke Bush but it made a decent, if subtle, contrast with the colour of the shrub.

I took my car to BMW to have the wheels changed over, a change that they got wrong last week, only to find that there was a nail in the tyre.  It would need a new tyre.  And I had to accept their procurement as they wouldn't put the wheel back on the car with the leaking puncture.

So, I had to accept it; however, I checked with blackcircles.com and their price was the same.  Hurrah!   

But while I was waiting for Mrs B to collect me I walked around 3 miles to make her job easier.  That must be enough steps for the day . . .
