A Lily a Day...

The most colour in the garden right now is compliments of the lilies and the hydrangea...Everything else currently green out there is lush and growing as I speak..and getting ready to explode into bloom! They must think they are living in a greenhouse!...they have had lots of heat and rain recently..and now a heat alert in the forecast for this week? My biggest chore will be watering...

It was a big day for Maggie..a visit to the vet for some blood-letting...not the way she had intended to spend her holiday Monday, but it had to be done. At her last check-up, her thyroid was giving hints of trouble to come; so a 6-month check-up was booked. Today was the day...Now we anxiously await the results...fingers crossed....

So, no happy cat photos today..she was not in a posing mood! Lilies will have to do...
