Family

After an unusually quiet 4th on our lake, we took the boat out again this morning.
It was already hot by 9 a.m., but many of yesterday's birds and animals were out doing their daily chores!
These swallows were busy feeding a tree full of youngsters... just like yesterday with the row of little ones on a branch!  I was happy to grab a shot between their hunting forays, and also happy that even one was in focus as our boat was moving also!
Another beautiful, hot summer day on our little piece of heaven.
