We finally got round to visiting our new great niece in Penarth.

Lottie wants to marry Clive and looked shocked when I told her he was already married!

We visited Jen and Pete in their new house. They move every 3 to 5 years. With 5 grandchildren on their doorstep, hopefully they will settle now. (Right on their doorstop instead of a 20 minute drive)

Penarth has sprawled since I started visiting almost 40 years ago. The town centre remains the same and the beachfront and parks but it almost meets Cardiff. 

And we had a walk along Penarth pier in beautiful warm sunshine.
