Another birthday day!

Today was Mr Mags birthday! He had been awake a lot of the night with the pain in his shoulder so it wasn’t quite the day we’d planned. After a leisurely breakfast we headed to Filey- a place we had first been in 1979!! We had a nice walk along the front and through a forest path. We stopped very briefly in Scarborough. I have to say I found it quite down at heel and quite depressing. Then we headed home afterwards for lunch, a rest and more medication for Mr Mags and then we headed out again. This time to Pickering and Thornton-le-Dale. We had a birthday tea of steaks we brought vacuum packed from home washed down by a nice bottle of Chateauneuf Du Pape. Not quite the day we’d planned but very nice nonetheless. There’s some very pretty villages around. Back to the physio tomorrow. Hoping the shoulder pain starts to ease.
