Keep the Curtains Closed!

Record heat has settled in for today and tomorrow.  Back in the day before air conditioning, it was "keep the windows and curtains closed."  Not sure these curtains in my breakfast room do much to keep the heat out.  Thank goodness for ac!    It will be over 92F today and we won't be getting much relief until Saturday.  Summer is here.  I may go to the lake tomorrow.  Gift#186: cousins with houses on a lake.
