ROBIN TIME

While mom was out looking for breakfast/brunch I took the opportunity to get a closeup of the robin chicks in their beautifully woven nest.

One of the great innovations of the digital age was the invention of the articulating LCD on my digital bodies.  The nest is above my head in height so all I had to do was incline the screen and lift the camera over my head to "see" what was in the nest.  Click!

The three chicks are about triple their size just a week ago.  Eyes are still closed but they should open soon.  Best in Large.....if you look carefully you might even see wing feathers starting to develop on the wing buds.
