View from the back
Dull and drizzly today - and for the next month, probably! Payback for the hot, dry weather we had last month!
More of the same today - titling and improving pictures, and catching up with a few bits and pieces of family history. I signed up for a cheap, short-term offer on Ancestry.co.uk, and I keep getting hints which are good to follow up. Today's hint was about my great-great-grandfather's stepson - he was committed to an asylum near Oxford and now I have the dates. Incidentally, the aforementioned 73 year old g-g-grandfather walked the 30 miles from Henley one day in 1895 to visit his stepson and on the way back he fell in the Thames and was drowned!
Bit of an emergency Blip today - I went outside while the drizzle was down to a minimum and tried without much success to find something Blippable. This is the back view of the foliage of Begonia grandis subsp. evansiana var. alba, which survives the winters outside up here.
