MR, MRS AND MISS INCOGNITO
What a lovely surprise I had yesterday, when our lovely Blip friend, Heidi, messaged yesterday to see if we were in today and if so, could she come and visit because she was going to be camping quite near us and our house would be a good place to stop.
We aren’t going out that much at the moment, except to see the doctor and physiotherapist, so I said we would be delighted to see her. She brought her own sandwich so that I wouldn’t have to worry about making lunch for her (although I told her it would be no trouble) and I made a lovely fruit salad for afterwards.
We do love getting together and our Blip meets aren’t like many others, in that we don’t go off to a different place - in fact, Heidi is quite happy to wander around our garden looking at the different flowers and chatting with us both. She often asks Mr. HCB questions about his greenhouse, vegetables and gardening in general and today was no exception.
For this shot, and it had to be my Blip today, we decided to go “incognito” so we all put our shades on. In fact, we were worse than children in the second shot when we all pulled funny faces - but we had such fun together.
After lunch, Heidi and I sat and chatted in the conservatory while Mr. HCB watched the cricket, and although he was a “happy bunny” at lunchtime, he wasn’t so happy at tea-time, but then very happy after tea - with apologies to any Australian friends!
Here’s a good pun for any Australians offended by Mr. HCB being happy:
What do you get if you cross
a turtle with a giraffe and a kangaroo?
A turtle neck jumper.
