Shades of blue

These hydrangeas are growing in my front garden. They’re quite amazing plants when you look closely.

It was really quite cold today. Lots of sunny intervals but a strong cold wind.

Not connected with the above - the news tells us that Thames Water has been fined £3million for polluting rivers. But when companies are fined like this, the news never tells us where that fine goes. And does the money they have to pay come from their profits? Surely the fine money should be distributed among ordinary people who have paid their water bill and not got what they paid for?
