Alliums in the Sensory Garden

In the Abbey Gardens in Bury St. Edmunds, there is a small but beautiful 'Sensory Garden' created by the BStE branch of the Royal Society for the Blind. It's full of scented flowers and herbs and a spiral water feature which sounds lovely. You can read a bit more about it here:

It's a really tranquil corner of the world to be in, and really makes you appreciate your senses- that you can see, hear, touch and smell all the gorgeous features of the garden, including these alliums which love the heat thrown off by the old wall of the Abbey behind them!
