Butterfly and Barley

 Orienteering friends Martyn and Sue joined us for a coffee this morning. It was good to catch up with them both. 

This afternoon I popped out to stretch the legs. It was much warmer than recently and I walked along the field edges before dropping down into the valley. Spotted this butterfly enjoying a rest on the ripening barley. Further along I spotted the extra. Can anyone identify it please?
