We have underfloor heating pipes! Yay. At the beginning of last week we didn't think we'd ever see this sight. Screed due to be laid tomorrow, and we head up to Manchester to allow it to dry over the weekend.

Standing back and watching these being laid brought home to me just what a huge project we have taken on. No regrets whatsoever, but we couldn't face it again.

Went to the pub for our meal tonight. Good not to cook.

Took Ali to the Vets. We think she's had a grass seed make its way into her skin in a very delicate place. Poor girl. Grass seeds are a nightmare at this time of year.
