Føroyar

Today we took the 75-minute flight from Edinburgh to the Faroe Islands, landing in sunny weather. During the hour's wait at the airport for the coach to Tórshavn, I had a wander down the road and took this view west to Sørvágur and the island of Mykines, our destination on Saturday.

Once we arrived in Tórshavn, we took the familiar (to me) walk from the coach station through the centre of the town: it takes about 10 minutes. Then we climbed up to find out accommodation for the first three nights.

Once we've eaten we'll go back into the centre of Tórshavn and enjoy the sunny evening. We don't know when we'll get another!
