It was so nice to be able to doze on after the alarm went this morning...

We went to collect Archie mid morning. He was outside with Elizabeth when we drove up. He saw us in the car, and his wee tail was wagging! He was quite pleased to see us! He got a good report from his hostess, though there had been a bit of barking when she went out. He might be invited to stay there again! In fact, he is - at the weekend.

JR went into town for lunch with ex-colleagues, and Archie and I watched tennis and snoozed. We had a couple of walks out, and I think he enjoyed being back in his old sniffing ground, because it took us ages getting along the road.

Just watching Murray's match - he's just lost the first set on a tie break.
