Crocosmia "Lucifer"

Visiting Kanyl always means a wander round the garden looking for a blip different from what I see in my own garden.  Lucifer caught my eye, as the neighbours have removed a conifer there is a wonderful display of flowers this year, I suspect the greater light has improved things.

Crocosmia also known as Montbretia is native to Southeast Africa.  Lucifer is actually a hybrid being Crocosmia x Curtonus
