Tea Time View
Well not the planned location to be sat eating my Tea. This all came about with a very eventful evening. I had just returned home from work and got changed when Julie received a phone call . Julie dad had been discharged from hospital today and had been taken home. He had only been home 2 hours when he went to the bathroom and had a fall. Living alone he was lucky that the next door neighbour heard him shouting for help. She went round to find him laid out on the bathroom floor , unable to move him she called an ambulance and then called Julie.
So we dashed straight over to Metheringham to find him laid on the floor still and awaiting an ambulance .
Once they arrived and got him up and sat in a chair they checked him over. While this was happening I went for a walk to get some food as not having had any tea and it was now nearly 8.00 . So a trip to a chippy in the village and then sat on a bench to eat them with this view.
Back to the bungalow the decision had been made that he shouldn't have been sent home as he needs respite care to get him hopefully back on his feet. Thankfully they found a respite home in Lincoln that was willing to take him in so they have taken him there and I dropped Julie off to see him get settled in.
Time now to go pick Julie up and then a relaxed hour before bed so will catch up on comments tomorrow
