Pride of London

I find these flowers really difficult to photograph, but I finally did some this morning that were pretty decent! It seems to work best to do them when they're backlit by the sun.

The wedding party last night went really well, everyone seemed to have a great time. I met lots of my friend's family that I'd never met before and socialised a lot, which is nice as I don't get the chance to do that sort of thing too often! And I'm not too tired today, which is good. The nice weather helps!

People found it very amusing that I knew the best man. He used to come to our church when he was younger - it's a total coincidence (if you believe in coincidence) that I ended up getting to know his best friend by a completely unrelated route!
