Another Rest Day

NOT much different from yesterday: puzzle, knit, read.  Inside. Made banana bread. Finished Barbara Kingsolver’s book, Demon Copperhead.  On the couch.   I’m really glad I recently read Dickens’ David Copperfield (started before I knew about Kingsolver’s book) . The comparison story of boys born to poverty and unbelievable hardship , one in the 1820s, the other in the1990’s just jumped off the pages and altho I’m sure I missed some of the same characters, and was a bit leary, but hopeful of the ending, I wasn’t disappointed.   A wonderful book.   A lot easier for me than Dickens!
