It’s a Wonderful World

As I write this, I’m just listening to Radio 4’s ‘Desert Island Discs’ where Lauren Laverne’s guest is the actor, Stanley Tucci, and I’m a bit teary as he talks about the death of his first wife Kate in 2009, from breast cancer.

The song which was played at her funeral was ‘It’s a Wonderful World’, sung by Louis Armstrong, was her favourite song and reflected her view of life and the world.

Let’s look at our wonderful colourful world and treat everyone with kindness and respect.
