Woody Wednesday (5th July 2023)

Refna came over at lunchtime to tidy up the garden for a couple of hours and my latest Craft Gin Club quarterly delivery arrived a little later just as I was making our tea. It was unpacked and pickled onion crisps consumed over our tea break, and the magazine Ginned studied for cocktail recipes and details about the contents. The blip was taken much later, after she had left.

This debut single by a Brixton-based five-piece has had a lot of airplay. It starts off sounding to me exactly like an Abba song (nothing wrong with that), but soon develops into something that is their own.
