Morning Ride

This is my Dunnie-like shot.
Did my first ride around the Point yesterday.
Stopped for a look, and a rest, at this small park. This little known monument is one of the oldest structures on the north-west coast. It marks the western end of mainland border between the USA and Canada. It was erected in 1861. For context, Vancouver did not exist until 1886.
The buildings on the right are in Tsawwassen, BC, as is the ferry terminal in the distance.
It’s a long steady grade up to get here. The good news is; it’s all downhill from here!
