Saved From The Smash!

This stained glass window was saved by Alan when he was 15. Everyone were replacing their windows with 'better' more practical plastic solutions. Alan at the tender age of 15 knew about art and design and recognised the value in it.
He asked his neighbour for it and managed to save the last one before it was smashed to pieces like the rest. Alan said the noise was terrible!
15 years later ( after it travelled everywhere with him in an art folio - it was finally installed into our house we still live in. I am painting the door dark grey today.
