Flowering at its best now with dense thickets on verges and along railway cuttings.
Dad called it "bomb weed" because it grew in craters in London in the 1940s where family lived from 1939.
It's seeds 'snow' in late summer breezes and covered me when used to cycle along former railway lines into the west winds
