Butterflies and Dragons
G and I went out at 9 for a walk round the Country Park and Lowes, including going down Butterfly Walk for butterfly spotting (main is a silver washed fritillary) and stopping off at the pond in search of dragonflies (see a keeled skimmer as Extra). It was a very warm, sunny morning and the wind had dropped, so we had good conditions. I wanted to get back for Wimbledon and before it got too hot (now 28C at 2:30). At the end of the walk G had a coffee and treated me to a Ronaldo's ice cream from Hetty's, consumed at a table under the cool of the trees. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours. Now watching the tennis, should be some good matches today. Hope they catch up a bit on matches as they're quite behind and thunderstorms are forecast for the UK tomorrow.
