Cold weather

Summer is so short, soon the days are beginning to draw in.
We have had a cold spell, and the birds found my feeder as soon as I put the suet stick out.

Today in 1822 twin sons were born to the 25 year old Efraim and his 26 year old wife Eva Maria. The elder of the sons died in his thirties, but the younger, Gustaf is the great grandfather of my mother. I arranged some family gatherings on this day in the years past, but I have not even attempted to do anything as there is no response or interest among the younger generation. It is sad and stunning.
