Speckled wood

A lovely sunny morning and lunchtime so I went for a walk in Middleton Hall Lakes Nature Reserve. In between the odd clouds, the butterflies were out

The speckled wood which posed was the one I chose, but I also saw quite a few whites, and managed to snap an orange tip as it settled on a pink campion.
