Spent the day in Edinburgh catching up with friends. In between dropped into a very busy National Gallery. This Sir Francis Grant painting has been taken out of storage and it is absolutely stunning. On a grand scale - a portrait of the artist’s daughter. Well worth a look if you are passing.
