Rover 105R

Saw this rather nice old Rover in the hills this afternoon.

Apparently this had the “Roverdrive” gearbox which was the first automatic transmission built in the UK.

Unfortunately the owner had left by the time I got back from my walk as I’d have liked a chat about the car.

A productive day as I commenced work on the improvements to the terrace drainage system and I think my plan will work!
