Quiet day at work. Think a few of the local schools broke up today so lots of customers off on their hols. Our two have got another week yet. 

Took advantage of my early finish to take Buddy up to Beacon hill in the box. Too many tractors about to do a solo local hack. They have put a temp sculpture trail along the horse track. Buddy happily went past the first one but the second one was a big wicker emu bird. He spun round snorting and prancing at it. It was too hot to put the effort into getting him past and goodness knows what else was round the corner so we gave up and took a diversion. Then Bud nearly had a heart attack walking past the wooden croc in the kids playground but after that we had a nice quiet ride, if not a bit sweaty!
