Forest Friday

A rather hot walk in the forest today, the air was still and muggy, the flies loved it!

Spotted today - Ringlet (pictured), Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell and a Small White also a plentiful supply of various bumblebees and Hoverflies of the hovering and non-hovering varieties (pictured).

I struggled with the heat today and felt exhausted when I arrived home even though I didn't walk as far as usual. A coffee and a natter with GeordiePam then it was time to go and see mum. I was in bad books today as I had forgotten the cheese, apparently this makes me a naughty boy, who knew! Mum was chatty telling me all about the places she's visited this week!
