(188) East Pier

I've been out on the bike revisiting some favourite viewpoints in Whitby today. Although Whitby is on the east coast of England, both piers face north, which means that in summer, from this viewpoint, the sun sets over the sea to the left and rises over the sea a few hours later to the right. The extra shot is a five frame pano-stitch, taken from the grounds of St.Mary's church on top of the east cliff.
