This Way

It was an unexpected early return to the UK for me (Annie) today, driving from near Zurich to home in one stint.

Yesterday, Chris called me to say he had a problem with his eye, which today was confirmed as a detached retina. It’s the same eye as last time this happened. He was whipped in for emergency surgery lunchtime today, and is now back home with instructions to only look at the floor for 24 hours. Once again, Stoke Mandeville NHS hospital has been fantastic in his care.

Patience will be needed.
