I know nothing about butterflies, so I have no idea what this is but it stayed still in the sunshine, long enough for me to get a clear shot.. 
I wasn't so lucky with a Red Admiral ( I think..!) on the Lavender, which either had it's wings closed or was moving.. 
I've never seen as much insect life in the garden, as there was today..
