Blue Friday

As days go, that was one of the most emotionally traumatic ones I’ve had for a long while.

Suffice it to say that I am single again of my own choosing, but I handled it appallingly causing undue emotional pain and torment. Fortunately, we were able to finally part with a hug and on as good as terms as possible given the circumstances.

Grateful for the close proximity of my family today, my friends and the distraction of Friday night cricket on a glorious summer’s evening.
