Wildflowers in the Wood

As we were walking in the wood this morning I was thinking it was such a shame so many of the wild flowers were past. All the big, blousy noticeable ones have been and gone. Then in the corner of the wildflower meadow I spotted some treasures. The Scottish Bluebells/Harebells/Lady’s thimble/ or whatever you like to call them, got me excited. I love to see them. The first I’ve seen this year.
The Scabious with the Tree bumble bee I captured next, then the Common yarrow and the Opium poppy. So, I really need to keep my eyes peeled and not expect the wildflowers to jump out at me.
