Mermaid

We were invited to join some people for brunch this morning, up in a holiday part of the island. We had an absolutely lovely few hours and then came home via Sarah's for the kids to swim in her pool and cool off. Nate made a friend at the cafe and has been so so sad ever since as she goes home tomorrow, just here on holiday. He feels things very deeply, seems to be a trait of Highly Sensitive kids...a painful one, for him. The comings and goings of folks in our life is especially hard for him.
A chilled afternoon hiding from the heat, or trying to, after a late night last night...and potentially another late night tonight because we'll be at the Club Náutico rooftop for Vicent's weekly 'do'.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Sarah saying the kids feel like grandkids to her.
2) Coming home with 14 passionfruit she gifted us from her garden!
3) Asha being great company with the adults at brunch.
