These ducklings aren't ugly and not bothered how close I got to photo them.  It is a photo from yesterday taken at the NT Kettlewell carpark on the shores of Derwentwater.  Plenty of ducks where 'going with the flow' just to the right of this photo, but this group were quite happy.

Today was one of those days when being at home was the right answer.  Just as well the roofers came back to add the new chimney.  This was unexpected and just as well I was cleaning the car when they arrived.  Nevertheless, there are four damaged tiles.  Never rains but it pours, excuse the pun.  The roofers have to return after the cladding has been put on.  Adam did the checking and has temporarily sorted it.
We have had three clasps of thunder one of which woke me from my nap.  Ah well, there is always a chance tomorrow for a photo session somewhere.
