East Lothian view

2nd Saturday Strollers today - felt like a bit of respite after yesterday's epic exertions ... a mere 5-miles, or so, along the coast from Musselburgh to Prestonpans ;-)

Main snap shows the view looking back to the Capital, with the Pentlands on the left, Arthur's Seat in the centre, and Granton stretching out to the right; 1st extra is of the Levenhall Links Bird Reserve (otherwise known as The Musselburgh Lagoons ); 2nd extra is of Preston Tower, where we had our picnic lunch-stop.

A most enjoyable wander - with many thanks to 'C' for her expert, local knowledge!

And the day was tragically topped-off, at the end of the walk, by a visit to the very welcoming Gothenburg Pub :-))
