Twins

We started our day with a breakfast picnic at the river, watching blue herons, osprey, sturgeon, waxwings, plus the occasional pontoon and fishing boats. On our way home we stopped along cobbosseecontee stream looking for more bird action and we weren’t disappointed • Numerous Eastern Kingbirds were out hunting for food. First perching on tree limbs, benches or overhead wires they then wait for insects to fly by and catch them midair. They’re skilled acrobats! • I mowed the grass then added a few annuals to the catepillar box and to the cosmos planter that surrounds the mailbox. Snortin’ Sally has been feasting on the cosmos so it needed perking up. Obviously our dear deer will be pleased with the additions • It’s Saturday! A movie with cocktails are on this evening’s menu :) • Cheers!
