E-field

A day off to celebrate E's birthday this week. We, together with C, went over to the 'confetti flower fields' just beyond Pershore.  They open for a couple of weeks each year presumably just ahead of cropping and drying.

Quite spectacular (as was the cost of a small bunch, which we easily declined to purchase).

Stopped in Pershore on the way back for an afternoon tea, only to find that all bar one of the 'tea shops' closed at half past three.  What?  How does that make sense?

However, we did find one, which was (unsurprisingly) busy, and enjoyed a nice cuppa and properly constructed cream and jam scone.   Well, I constructed it properly, anyway.
