One Street- Derek

My daughter came over to see me this afternoon and we went for a stroll along One Street (the Bridgewater Canal).

We met Derek and stopped to have a chat with him. He has to be one of the most relaxed people that I have met. A Scouser, who went to sea before embarking on a career in shipping and antiques. Since retiring he has spent the last three years living on his canal boat.

I explained about One Street and he was really pleased when I asked if I could take his photo.
