Island Games 2023

Guernsey is the venue for the 19th Island Games this year. The opening ceremony was today and I think at least half of Guernsey turned out for it. 24 islands are taking part and that equates to 2184 competitors! Here are just some of the teams and the High Street jammed with folk and the teams left at the end. It was amazing! Our son was the compère for the opening ceremony and he did so well, as did The Big Band Collective that he sings with. The rain held off and it was very hot! Fantastic afternoon.
